Youth Corper distributes 5000 books to students in Ikere Ekiti

Personal Community Development Service (CDS) Projects are encouraged by the the NYSC. Amidst the challenges of getting funds for these projects, some do endeavour to leave some mark in the community where they have served. Ex-Corper Adeniji Amos Oluwagbenga’s personal CDS Project was tagged “GIVE A CHILD A BOOK”.
Adeniji (EK/14B/2540), a Batch B 2014/2015 ex-corps member who served in Ikere Local Government of Ekiti State distributed about 5,000 exercise books free of charge to the students in the Local Government as part of his CDS project.
He pointed out the fact that many people contributed in one way or the other towards the success of the project. The books were distributed to students in three schools in the local government before the Batch ‘B’ POP. Adeniji intends to continue the distribution after his POP at Eleyo High School, or Irepodun High school of Ikere Ekiti on Friday, 19th June, 2015.
