The police have realeased a report on a female NYSC Corps Member, Ngozi Onyekwere, that served in Akwa Ibom, and was involved in an accident that claimed her life earlier in July. The car she was travelling in was engulfed in fire when the car crashed into the gutter trapping her inside the Toyota Camry.
The police has now release a report on Wednesday refuting earlier claims on social media that she was set ablaze and left to die by angry villagers when the car hit a 10-year old boy trekking home from school.
The accident occurred in Nsit Ibom Local Government Area, on June the 22nd. The driver and the passenger who were both friends of the deceased, survived.
Ms. Ngozichukwu Philomina Leriakawa, 26, was serving in the Akwa Ibom Government House, Uyo and was due to complete the national service in October.
She was a graduate of Accounting from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
