Updates: NYSC Mobilization Time Table 2015 Batch B

The Time-table has been released. Online registration of Prospective Corps Member for 2015 Batch B starts 8th of September and ends 9th of October 2015. Also, Stream I runs from 28th October – 16th November 2015 and Batch II from 25th November – 14th December, 2015.

Also, the 2015 Batch ‘B’ Pre-Mobilization workshop which was held in Kaduna recently yielded some information that you would need. The workshop which was attended by the DG of the NYSC, Brig-Gen. Johnson Olawumi, Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State who was represented by the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Youth Development, and important stakeholders like JAMB, SIDMACH Technologies, NBTE.

In his welcome speech the DG congratulated the Governor , on his victory at the last governorship polls. The Governor in turn, commended Corps Members for their patriotic and heroic efforts in the general elections.

New developments at the workshop follow:

Effective from 2015 Batch ‘B’ all corps members who graduated with First Class honours, Distinction Degrees and Diplomas will be posted to tertiary institutions for effective utilisation of their manpower.

All Prospective Corps members must complete all 4 cardinals points of National Service, hence, pregnant women who can’t complete all four should stay back & put to bed first. Details.

It was stressed that registration by proxy isn’t only criminal but prohibited and any Prospective Corps Member caught will not be registered on camp.

During the period of registration, a help-desk will be set-up and Deployment & Relocation (D&R) officers will be available at NYSC state secretariats to take all institutions’ and prospective corps members’ complaints. So there will be no need to visit the NYSC National Headquarters in Abuja before lodging complaints.

The NYSC Management have decided to remove JAMB number from part-time students’ on-line registration form. Part-time students will now be able to print Exclusion Letters on-line just as regular students are printing call-up letters.

Sidmach Technologies revealed that it is working on the integration of NABTEB & NECO databases into the NYSC portal which should be completed before the 2016 Batch ‘A’ registration. The Synergy of JAMB, NUC & NYSC ensures that only duly admitted student of accredited courses with licensed institutions are mobilized for National Service.
