The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has sanctioned 24 members for various offenses in Delta State.

No fewer than 60 members also had their service year extended.

The NYSC State Coordinator, Mr. Ayodele Omotade, speaking on the rationale behind the remobilization and extensions at the passing out parade in Asaba, the state capital, said the affected corps members were guilty of indiscipline, misconduct and breach of the NYSC bye-laws.

“They form part of the 2,657 NYSC Batch B, Stream 11, 2015 corps members that passed out in Delta State.

“Eighty of them were remobilized, 60 others are facing extension of service, while four of the corps members bagged state awards for excellence,” the Coordinator stated also urging incoming Corpers to be on their best behavior.
