This week, the National Youth Service Corps has institutions or its officials against sending/adding the names of unqualified graduates for mobilization into the Scheme, saying it would attract criminal prosecution.
This is one of the resolutions made at the 2017 Batch ‘A’ Pre-Mobilization Workshop held in Minna, Niger State.
The Director-Generals’ words were;
“Any official or institution of higher learning that includes names of unqualified graduates in their approved list for NYSC mobilization will be liable for criminal prosecution,”
In the ceremony, he further disclosed that two higher institutions were under investigation by regulatory bodies for allegedly presenting unqualified persons to the Scheme for mobilization and will be persecuted if found guilty.
